NetDragons.com will have to shut down Vagabond's Quest on September 30th, 2001 pending further news. Today I received an email from NetDragons.com's primary ad network saying they are shutting down thier ad network as of Sept 23rd, 2001, you can read their press release. NetDragons.com received 50-60% of total revenue from this company and I cannot keep Vagabond's Quest running without them. While I am looking for another ad network it is doubtful that I will find one given current events and the current state of the online ad market.

The NetDragons.com web site will continue to function, it will just be without Vagabond's Quest. In addition we will be switching to a more open development of Vagabond's Quest v.2. In the coming weeks I hope to have graphic specifications released. Also, if you know Delphi and DirectX and wish to help, please contact me. Vagabond's Quest v.2 will be set on "hyper development." This means that I will take as many old, but useful pieces of code (such as Vagabond's Realm Engine) to greatly speed up the development of the game.

Please continue to enjoy Vagabond's Quest until the end of the month and accept my sincerest apologies for having to shut Vagabond's Quest down. I hope everyone enjoyed playing the game while it was up.
