Every so often the VQ Character list database gets corrupted. We are working on solve this
problem so it doesn't happen anymore, but at the present time we haven't been able to isolate the
problem. Luckily the problem is fairly easy to fix, and when caught in time, will only effect a very
small number of people.
If VQ is telling you that your player isn't registered, try the form above to see if your character's
information is still in the system. If it is, then you'll be okay, just keep on reading. If not, then
someone probably registered your player while the database was corrupted and there isn't a whole
lot we can do.
First off, if you just noticed the problem, it's best to email
vagabond@netdragons.com with a quick e-mail
letting him know something is wrong with the database. This way, he knows something needs to be
fixed and he can hop to it, but don't expect an answer to the e-mail. When something like this
happens, 20-100 e-mails normally get sent, all with the same problem, so keep it short so he can
get back to work faster.
Secondly, if your player doesn't come back in the database restore, you can now use the form
below to reregister your player without having it overwrite your player information. You'll have to
give us the e-mail address that your player was originally registered with so we know that the
player belongs to you. Any questions can be directed at the above e-mail address.
