NOTE: The Java Client loads your
player data into memory, so you'll need to logout in order to visit shops, halls, etc. If you do not, old player
data will be written when you do logout.
If you recieve the message "Login Failed!
Invalid Client: Old build" you need to exit your browser
and restart it.
We've tried to make the Java Client easy for everyone to
use. It has a nice User Interface for those of you that like to
point and click your way around, and a command
line interface for those of you who would rather
type in your commands. We also
have a fight tutorial to walk
you through the steps to fight.
Your most important options are displayed in The Client windows. Your fight options will show up at the
bottom of the Java Client. All the other options you
need are a right click away (CTRL+Click for those of you with
only one button). If you want to get more
information about a player, select their name from the
list and say "Get Info". You can also challenge and ignore
users the same way. To place a bet on a fight, double click
on the fight in the Fight List and your betting options will
appear.
How do I fight?
Read the Fight Tutorial to get started.
How do I whisper to someone?
That's easy. Type in /msg *name* *message* (do not include the asterisks). For
example if you wanted to whisper to Falados type
/msg Falados The java client rocks!.
How do I perform actions like * Cheese grins wickedly at Falados?
Again, it's easy, just type /me *action*. For
example, type in /me grins wickedly at Falados.
How do I page or talk with the GameOp?
To page an op, type /page *reason*. For example
/page Falados is flirting with me. To talk
with a GameOp, just type /op *message*. For
example /op Thanks for taking care of my problem.
There are also a number of other
commands you can use, but they are not necessary. You can find them at the previous link.
